Frequently Asked Questions

What are neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators are substances that modulate the activity of neurons, affecting the release or reception of neurotransmitters. In the context of medical and aesthetic procedures, neuromodulators typically refer to substances that temporarily block nerve signals, leading to muscle relaxation. Botox is a FDA-approved cosmetic treatment that uses a purified form of botulinum toxin to temporarily relax facial muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
